With VicDir system, you can search for 3 types of information
Companies or other bodies
Products or services
Job vacations
VicDir Search follows your grouped search rules which expected to be divided with semicolons ';' (or return keys - if the input box accepts multi-lines)
Each search rule should follow the Rule_Name=Your_Search_Word syntax, both of them are case-insensitive, and the equal mark '=' can be replaced with colon ':'
Geogrephy Location LimitVicDir supports 4 forms (or the mix combine of them) to apply geography location limits
Un-assigned place names - If you do know a place without understanding the meaning of the name, the Rule_Name could be any one of the following: [loc, location, place]
Place names with assigned levels - if you do know the place name and what it means, you can combine some of the following rules:
Nation level. Rule_Name could be: [nation, area, country]
State/province level. Rule_Name could be: [sta, pro, state, province]
City level. Rule_Name could be: [city, dis, district]
Suburb level. Rule_Name could be: [sub, suburb]
Street level. Rule_Name could be: [st, street]
Zip or Post code Limit - If you know the Post Code of the target place, the Rule_Name could be any one of the following: [zip, post, zipcode, postcode]
Phone Number Prefix Limit
- If you know the area code and/or some beginning digitals of the local phone numbers of the target place, the Rule_Name could be any one of the following: [ph, phone]
Industry Limit - You can set the industry limit via one of the following Rule_Names: [in, industry]
Product or Service Limit - You can limit the product/service range by using one of the following Rule_Names: [ps, product, service]
Brand or Trademark Limit - You can limit the brand/trademark range by using one of the following Rule_Names: [tm, trademark, trade]
Name Leading Letter Limit - You can limit result by speciafy the beginning letter of the name of the companies or other bodies, the Rule_Name is: [az]
The WITH Limit - This rule gives a wide range of choice to users to define addtional conditions which they think the target info should contain.
Example 1: with=iso-9001; - the target companies should have recently ISO-9001 verified.
Example 2: with=website; - the target companies should have their own websites or webpages.
